Emergency Food and Shelter Program

South Shore Community Action Council administers the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) / FEMA. EFSP/FEMA provides one-time emergency assistance with rents/mortgages to prevent eviction or foreclosure, or one-time emergency assistance with a fuel delivery or utility bill.
