Immediate Opening Lead Teachers Preschool

PM Lead Teacher Preschool –30 & 37.50 hrs/52 wks.
BA/BS or AA/AS required in Early childhood or related field.

Core Duties:
Plan and implement all classroom activities that carry out the goals set forth in the Education Plan. Assist Co Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities in accordance with the EEC regulations set forth, while assuming a lead role in working with varying groups of children. Meal assistance and other various activities as assigned. Develop Daily lesson & curriculumn plans. Bus Monitoring duties may be required on occasion. Experience with Creative Curriculum software helpful, although, not required.

Core Qualifications:
EEC Commonwealth of Massachusetts certification in Preschool Teaching. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood preferrred, other majors would be considered for position. Must be at least 18 yrs. of age to apply.

Minimum Requirements at employment:
All candidates must have a current medical certificate, MMR Documentation, statements of CORI/Background check, DCF background check including SORI and fingerprinting and employment application (available on SSCAC website) prior to beginning employment.
