South Shore Early Education and Care – a program of the SSCAC, Inc. on the South Shore - seeks a part-time temporary Receptionist at our Plymouth location. 20 hours per week, up to a six-month assignment, Monday to Friday. Schedule 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday to Friday, no weekends, no nights. No benefits apply, other than the MA state sick leave law and scheduled holidays. Base hourly rate-$20.61/hr.
POSITION: 20 hours per week - part time
Core Responsibilities:
Answering phones, gatekeeping, and greeting clients, with the ability to multitask while operating the front desk. Ability to manage clients and direct phones simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Core Qualifications:
Must have excellent Excel, Word, and Outlook skills. Mail, copier, and scanner skills are necessary. A minimum of a high school degree or HISET/GED may be substituted. Must be able to speak and understand English. Being bilingual in other languages, such as Portuguese, Spanish, or Arabic, is helpful, though not required.
Minimum Requirements for employment:
· All candidates must undergo a DCF background check, with CORI, SORI, and fingerprints post-interview, before beginning employment.

· Valid MA state driver’s license.
