South Shore Early Education is a program of the South Shore Community Action Council, a private nonprofit organization dedicated to providing early education services throughout the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands. We are currently seeking a full-time Family Advocate to join our Plymouth team for 30 hours per week over a 41-week annual schedule. The position offers a base compensation of $24.58 per hour for candidates with a BA/BS, with a higher rate available for those with an LICSW. All company benefits apply.

POSITION: 30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
Core Responsibilities:

Experience working with families, including setting goals and objectives & familiarity with outside referral agencies. Experience with Head Start/ Early Head Start Performance Standards is preferred. Must be able to assist the families as they transition through the program to kindergarten. Must be able to adapt to the referral process within the program and work within the component. Demonstrated experience in licensed social work. If not LICSW; can substitute demonstrated caseworker experience of more than five years instead. Familiarity and working knowledge with families with children 3 months- 5 years old, including home visits with the families. Travel within locations will be required

Core Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a closely related field is required. MA EEC Teacher Certification is helpful. Licensed social worker preferred. May substitute demonstrated caseworker experience of at least 5 years for LICSW. Must have a driver's license in good standing. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Bilingual in Portuguese, Arabic, and Spanish preferred, although not required.Must be able to speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements for employment:
· All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check before beginning employment.
· Date of posting 2/11/26, deadline to apply 2/23/26 or until a suitable candidate is found.
· Valid MA state driver’s license.
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
