South Shore Early Education and Care is a program of the South Shore Community Action Council - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Cape and Islands, South Shore Early Education and Care in Marshfield seeks a full-time -Teacher Preschool, 35.00 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Schedule 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Base hourly rate with AA/AS $25.37/hr. with BA/BS $27.40/hr.

Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Creates and maintains a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool required. Minimum degree accepted associates; bachelor’s degree preferred in early childhood (or related field). Must be able to speak and understand English. Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic helpful, although not required.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
· All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment.

· Valid MA state driver’s license.
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
