South Shore Early Education in Plymouth seeks a full-time School Nurse 37.50 hrs. per week, 52 wks. per year. All benefits apply. No nights, no weekends, and exclusive of approved holidays. Schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Base hourly rate $25.93/hr. non-exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience, licenses and education.

The Head Start School Nurse is a compassionate, organized, and energetic professional who helps keep our children healthy, safe, and ready to learn. This role is all about connecting with children, families, staff, and community partners—while leading the health services component of the site with confidence and care.
**What You’ll Do...**
· Be a friendly, trusted health presence for children, families, and staff.
· Keep health records organized and up to date, including screenings, immunizations, follow-ups, and data tracking (details matter!).
· Partner with families to support healthy habits, answer questions, and connect them with helpful resources.
· Collaborate with teachers, family advocates, administrators, and community health providers as part of a strong, supportive team.
· Coordinate health screenings, referrals, and follow-up care with community partners.
· Promote wellness, safety, and infection control throughout the program.
· Participate in team meetings and planning conversations focused on the whole child.

Minimum Requirements at employment:
· All candidates must undergo a background check where applicable; prior to beginning employment.
· RN Desired, LPN accepted

· Valid MA state driver’s license.
